Ship Afrika set to launch customer-friendly online shipping platform
05 Jan, 2012 Announcements Public Relations Industry News

Ship Afrika®, the international freight-forwarding company has launched an online shipping platform for its customers. The company which was established in 2010 and supports over 200 clients between the United States of American and several African countries, will give its existing and new customers the ease of managing their shipments at their convenience.

The website promotes an unconventional do-it-yourself approach to an industry that has long been unable to standardize its pricing practice. It gives its registered users the ability to generate an estimate for their shipments, and to go further with converting those estimates to a shipment order. Users are also given the ability to track the movements of their shipments.

Ubong Ekwere, Founder and Chief Executive of Ship Afrika®, said: "We are starting 2012 in the best possible way by standardizing our practices and giving our clients an amazing platform to procure their shipments at their convenience. Now they can have visibility on their shipments from start to finish, at the best possible rate.

"We've also given many different services and customer support options to our widerange of clients, which we believe will make it easier for them to get help when they need it. We are pleased to be able to leverage technology in a way that will make things more convenient and save our clients valuable time and money."

Ship Afrika® also hopes to appeal to its commercial clients by promoting its online manifest download services. Those clients will be able to create electronic manifest of their shipments, and have access to them along with associated shipping documents at their convenience.
